Each application is unique, and titanium in its many forms is used for some of the most demanding applications. Beta titanium provides the superior strength and corrosion resistance for high-performance spring applications. With increased hardenability and formability, and more creep resistance than other titanium alloys, beta titanium leads the industry for applications such as springs, fasteners, and torsion bars. Widely used by aerospace, defense, petro chemical, and other high-performance industries, beta titanium combines the unique properties of titanium with those of other elements to create materials for almost any high-performance application.
We manufacture the following beta titanium alloys:
Beta titanium alloys are kept in stock as both redraw and finished products. We can also manufacture beta titanium as centerless ground bar or cold drawn wire to specifications such as:
Centerless Ground Bar 2.54 mm [0.100 in] to 31.75 mm [1.250 in] with a standard tolerance of +/- 0.0127 mm [0.0005 in]
Wire 1.02 mm [0.040 in] to 14.29 mm [0.5625 in] with a standard tolerance of
+/- 0.0254 mm [0.001 in]
Coil 1.14 mm [0.045 in] up to 14.27 mm [0.562 in]
G & S Bar and Wire will be closed Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 10. We will be back to help you on Monday, July 13. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Mitch Bowers, Internal Sales Manager, at email@example.com or 330.845.4743. Have a safe and fun Fourth of July Holiday.
